Supporting Ride for Tavie, a 500km bike ride in 5 Days 

On 22nd March, 2024 our daughter Octavia “Tavie” nearly died from Strep A Sepsis. After a horrific and scary few weeks, she is now in recovery,  but will continue her life with disability after amputation of her right lower limb. We wanted to share our story (click here for ‘Our Story’) and raise awareness and support for the charities who have supported us and the causes which are now very close to our hearts. 

To celebrate her recovery, we are hosting a charity bike ride from 26-30th July, 2024. Cyclists will take on 500km in 5 days between Norfolk and Cardiff- via GOSH (for more info on the bike ride click here). Cyclist and non/ cyclists are all welcome to come to support and be involved (for more info on getting involved click here).

All donations will go to GOSH Charity and the Sick Children’s Trust (click here for more information). Our aim is to raise awareness of Group A Strep sepsis; and being a child with a visible difference (refer to ‘raising awareness’ for more information).
